Lost & Found – Miami Airport

Miami Airport offers an efficient and user-friendly Lost Property Office service in case passengers lose their belongings. For items lost in or around the terminal, please contact the Lost and Found Office located on the 4th floor of North Terminal D. The office is open 7 days a week from 08:00 to 18:00.

Storage Period and Operation

All items found in the terminal, car park, service areas or staff shuttles are securely stored for 30 days. Special items such as precious jewellery are protected for 60 days. Items whose owners cannot be reached at the end of this period are donated to charities such as Goodwill.

Application and Delivery Process

If you have a lost item, you can apply online by filling out the Lost Property Report Form. If your item is found, you can pick it up from the lost and found office with your ID and application number or request it to be sent by cargo. Shipping fees and customs charges, if any, are the responsibility of the passenger.

Lost Items on Aircraft or at a Car Rental Centre

If you have left your item on an aircraft, you should contact the airline directly. For items lost at a car rental centre, you can call +1 888-761-8227.
